A pumped-up Ossi Reisinger (AUT/Husqvarna) won the Rocket Ride and Iron Road Prolog races – both on Bridgestone tyres – at the iconic Erzberg Rodeo enduro event in Austria, 15th to 18th June, which is reckoned to be the toughest dirt bike race in the world.
The Kärcher Rocket Ride on Day 1 is a full-throttle uphill dash on the rocks and gravel of mount Erzberg. Going for his third win on the super-steep and slippery ‘iron giant’, Reisinger chose the grip and robustness of Bridgestone tyres.
On Day 3, Bridgestone tyres also took the Austrian rider to victory in the lightning-fast Iron Road Prolog race – 13.5 kilometres from paddock to summit on a treacherous gravel road.
Nico Thuy, Head of Europe - Motorcycle at Bridgestone Europe comments:
“Bridgestone is proud to share the podium in two top events at Erzberg Rodeo. As well as being a lot of fun, this is a world-class event with 1500 enduro competitors from more than 30 nations and thousands of enthusiasts crowding the mountain slopes. Exhilarating, exciting and the toughest test you can imagine for off-road tyres!”
Bridgestone, the world’s largest tyre and rubber company, has developed a range of high-performing premium off-road motorcycle tyres under the Battlecross name, for all types of terrain and conditions.
